2017- a FRESH new YEAR!
I’m Lara, co- founder of Foodstory Scotland.
I was feeling a bit demotivated and unchallenged towards the end of last year- 2016
So to start this year off I decided to do a 30 day challenge, a few staff and friends are getting involved too.
For the whole month of January we’re cutting out all dairy, meat, fish and refined sugar from our diet AND we’re
taking up yoga/stretches and/or mindfulness for 15-20 minutes a day.

Yoga for 16 minutes- It was really tough but great.
I was at work for 8.30 so I had a quick porridge with almond milk and honey before work.
Amazing vegan gluten free wraps with baba ganoush, rocket, superfood salad, red pesto, black olive and the other one had something similar but with falafel. SO GOOD. I’ll update the recipes tomorrow!
I tried a little of the almond (not peanut butter crunch) butter crunch (dairy, gluten and sugar free) and it was incredible.
Crazy busy day at the cafe. Buzzing, short staffed but it as buzzing. Love these kinda days!
Roasted butternut squash mung dahl stew– tasty tasty and hearty. Feeling good.
Amazing day, feeling exhausted and ready for my bed now- 9.15 pm.
Ready for YOGA GRANOLA tomorrow. Yay!
