Lara’s 30 day challenge- Days 15-19

2017- a FRESH new YEAR!

I’m Lara, co- founder of Foodstory Scotland.

I was feeling a bit demotivated and unchallenged towards the end of last year- 2016

So to start this year off I decided to do a 30 day challenge, a few staff and friends are getting involved too.

For the whole month of January we’re cutting out all dairy, meat, fish and refined sugar from our diet AND we’re
taking up yoga/stretches and/or mindfulness for 15-20 minutes a day.

I live/work in Aberdeen Friday to Tuesday and in live/work in Edinburgh Tuesday to Friday in case you wondered why I’m in two cities a lot of the time.

Days 15-19

I’m sorry. I’ve been terrible at keeping this up. I’ve been packing and planning my trip around Europe. It started on Monday night and since then Ive been hoping from Edinburgh to London to Paris to Barcelona.

BUT I’ve stuck to the challenge. Yip eeeeeeee.

Food- 

London- We checked out Caravan– in King Cross and had a very tasty Quinoa and butternut squash salad. The atmosphere was incredible.

Paris- Our air bnb is this incredible little studio with a cool loft. Loved it. We were able to do Yoga and then explore quirky cafes and yummy vegan places. I had thee most amazing King kale juice from Juice Lab. 

Le potage du Marais- this vegan place had thee most incredible food.

Train snacks and traveling across France to Barcelona was amazing.

Here now and off to do Yoga. Yay!
